We have developed Nighthemy WordPress Theme to make the installation and maintenance process as easy as possible. In this documentation we will go through all the documentation of the theme so you can manage everything without any problem.
How to install Nighthemy WordPress Theme
In this first module we are going to focus on how to install Nighthemy WordPress Theme
WordPress Theme Installation
Once you download the file, you will need to go to “Appearance” -> “Themes”. Once on this page you will have to click on the “Add new theme” button and upload the .zip file of the theme. When the installation is finished, click on activate.
Install the necessary plugins
Once you activate Nighthemy, you will see a prompt at the top of your screen telling you that you need to install the necessary plugins for the theme to work. Install and activate each of them.
One Click Demo Import
Once you have installed all the necessary plugins, you will need to go to “Plugins” -> “Add a new plugin”. Once you are in the search, search for “One Click Demo Import”. Install and activate it. Now you will need to go to “Appearance” -> “Import Demo Data”. Import the Demo Data and wait for the process to complete.
Import Elementor Kit
At this point, you should already have all the necessary pages and settings but you need to import one more file. In the theme file you download you will find a .zip file called elementorojskit.zip. All you have to do is go to “Elementor” -> “Tools” -> “Import/export kit”. Once there import the file you will find in the theme and you will be all set!
How to change the theme colors
In this second module, we are going to see how it is possible to change the theme colors in just a few clicks.
Change custumizable colors
To change the customizable colors you have to go to “Appearance” ->Customize -> Themes Colors
Change the colors associated with Elementor
To change the Elementor colors, go to Edit any of your elementor pages. Once inside the editor, on the top left you will see 4 buttons, click on “Site Settings” -> “Global Colors” and change them to your liking.
How to change the theme font
In this third module, we are going to learn how to change the typography of our website with Nighthemy.
Change to a custom font
To change the font, go to Edit any of your elementor pages. Once inside the editor, on the top left you will see 4 buttons, click on “Site Settings” -> “Global Fonts” and change them to your liking.
How to edit/create and use display rules for headers and footers
In this fourth module of the Nighthemy documentation, we are going to learn how to change the headers and footers and make them fully customizable.
How to customize existing headers?
In order to edit the headers, you have to go to “Appearance” -> “Elementor Header and Footer Builder”. Once in this page you will be able to edit “Main Header” or the available headers.
How to customize existing footers?
In order to edit the footers, you have to go to “Appearance” -> “Elementor Header and Footer Builder”. Once in this page you will be able to edit “Main Footers” or the available footers.
How to create new Headers and Footers?
In order to create new headers and footers, you will have to click on “Add New” (assuming you are on the Headers and Footers page). Once on the creation page you will have to choose the location, either “Header” or “Footer”. In order to create it you can use Elementor.
How do we use the display rules for Headers and Footers?
The display rules allow you to create different headers and footers for each page or set of pages. You can display on the pages you determine and also on the types of users.
How do we create new events?

How to add an event?
To add new events we go to “Events” -> “Add New Event”.
